The Mission

The Better Days Project is dedicated to providing inspiration, resources, and stress relieving therapies for veterans, first responders, and ANYONE who is struggling through life's most challenging circumstances. This will contribute to improve the overall health and well-being of our community by offering a variety of solutions for those who reach out for help because they are sick of struggling and want better. This is the real change that we need to make a difference.

 We set out on a certain life path with beliefs and ideas of how to navigate it. Then things change and don't work the way we expected, creating more stress that negatively affects us in every way. 

 It's easy to stay stuck, hard to make change, and nearly impossible to do it alone. When someone is at their breaking point, they cannot think clearly and need connection for resources, support, and therapy.

and I am on a mission

I got to a point in my life where I realized every challenge I've worked my way through had a stigma attached to it; (unrealized) pain pill dependence, single parenting, holistic living, healing cancer naturally, cannabis use, marital issues, spouse with mental illness/addiction, veteran's neglect, free thinking, homeschooling, not co-parenting with the government or unconsciously following along with the narrative: to name a few chapters of my life! I am not a doctor and don't give medical advice. I am an expert in struggling with stigmas and finding solutions to freedom.

 

my tribe

 

Each time I found myself muddling through a storm, I lost friends who were uncomfortable with my situation. It was lonely. The blessing was finding my tribe of people who were compassionate and understanding and didn't judge me for learning, growing, and changing. Without them, I wouldn't be able to be here for you!

the community

I've read countless articles and books. I've watched endless podcasts and documentaries, but nothing has helped me more or brought sustainable outlets like the relationships I've built along the way. 

As the collective, WE need to develop and expand our community to support our friends during the worst time of their lives. Finding people who understand is great, but if they aren't helping you take your next steps to get your life back on track, they aren't the right people.
